OM is a sound that is often used in chants. The OM sound is actually made up of three sounds – A, U, M – that represent the cycle of life. A – for creation. U – for reaching full bloom or peak and M – for transformation. By chanting OM, you recognise this cycle and connect to the infinite part of your being. You can incorporate the OM chant at the beginning and/or the end of your practice. Or you can create a longer meditation practice around OM.
