Komodo is one of the pioneers in sustainable fashion. Fair Trade: Komodo produces under fair working conditions in Nepal, China, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India and Turkey. Several factories are GOTS certified, which guarantees organic materials and fair production.

Environmentally friendly: the clothing is made from GOTS certified organic cotton, hemp, linen, modal, Tencel, Cupro, recycled PET, upcycled rubber, wool and corozo (for the buttons). These are natural, organic and innovative materials. The Merino wool (which is only used in the winter collections) is certified and comes from a non-mulesing source. The packaging material is made from recycled paper, vegetable compostable foil and paper tape.

Good cause: Komodo supports several charities in the countries where they produce, such as the Sumatran Orangutan Society, Tibet Relief Fund and Sunrise Orphanage Kathmandu.
