Mayamiko makes sustainable fashion with an African twist. The clothing is produced in Malawi under fair working conditions. They are members of the World Fair Trade Organization and act accordingly. Not only does Mayamiko do their best for good working conditions, but they also try to help the local community. Clothing that not only makes you happy but also the makers!
To support the environment, Mayamiko uses sustainable materials as much as possible. They use GOTS certified organic cotton that is grown nearby, and upcycled materials, such as silk. All Mayamiko clothing is machine washable at 30 ° C because they believe that all little bits help. They also have a "Zero Waste" workshop, where the smallest piece of fabric is still used and nothing is wasted.
