This beautiful Scarf Black Grey adorned with ribbon and fancy fringes is handwoven of organic bamboo chenille. The threads are hand-dyed with azo-free dyes blended in harmonious black and grey colors.

These fairtrade bamboo scarves are handwoven on a backstrap-loom by members of the Mayan collectieve Kamolon KiKonojel from Guatemala.

This women cooperative is formed by 180 backstrap weavers, warpers, dyers and sewers.

Scarf Care:

Environmentally Friendly: For the wool collection Quetzal Artisan uses materials such as bamboo, alpaca wool, and organic cotton, which are spun in the Andes mountains of South America. For the Guatemalan collection, they only use natural materials such as cotton and viscose, and they paint by hand using natural paint products such as tree bark and flowers.
