According to Abury, style, quality and ethics are by no means mutually exclusive. Rather, the magic lies in the combination. The story behind each handmade product touches our hearts.
Fair Trade: Abury works with all kinds of communities around the world, including Tanzania, Brazil, Ivory Coast, and many more! The people in these communities make beautiful handmade products under fair working conditions for a fair wage. In addition, Abury reinvests 50% of its profits in educational projects in the countries they work with. They have already enabled more than 200,000 hours of education in these countries! Abury is a B Corp certified company and therefore consciously contributes to a better world.
Environmentally friendly: The Abury team is inspired by the stunning natural beauty of our planet. That is why they only work with regional materials. They know exactly where the materials are produced and who is behind the process. The leather partners are EU certified, and they try to promote conscious and responsible behavior in all their processes. This is one of the most challenging tasks in the projects, but Abury is confident that they will achieve their goal with perseverance.
