Mainio is a Finish kids brand based in Helsinki. The brand uses sustainable materials such as GOTS certified organic cotton, which means that the cotton was sourced in a fair trade and environmentally friendly manner. They also use mulesing-free merino wool, which means that the sheep were not subject of the mulesing practises that are absolutely not animal friendly. The clothing is produced in Lithuania and India in factories that hold an SA8000 certificate, which guarantees fair trade production with living wages.
