For over 100 years, everything in the Werner family business has revolved around sustainable footwear. The factories in Romania are Fair Wear audited and the leather is vegetable inherited. So much know-how impresses and convinces us: We are pleased to have Werner as a production partner for our sustainable footwear.

For our shoes we use vegetable tanned leather from Germany. By foregoing chemical treatment and finishing of the skins, man and nature are spared. Color differences and irregularities are a distinctive natural feature of leathers that have been vegetable tanned and give each article uniqueness.

This item is completely CO₂-neutralized. Together with the experts from ClimatePartner, we determine the CO₂ emissions caused during production and offset them by supporting a carbon offset project.

Fair fashion takes time, which is why we produce two collections a year. When designing our slow fashion, we focus on timeless designs and reflected trends. Each of our high quality garments made from sustainable natural materials is made to last.

Lanius is a brand founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius with a clear vision to bring ecological materials and fair working conditions together to create beautiful feminine items. Lanius stands for LOVE FASHION / THINK ORGANIC / BE RESPONSIBLE and you can see that in their clothing.

Fair Trade: Lanius works only with facilities where they can guarantee fair production. They have a close relationship with all of them, and most of their suppliers are GOTS certified. They are very transparent and have a page dedicated to all their suppliers on their website, so you can see who made your clothing.

Environmentally Friendly: The clothes are made from GOTS certified organic cotton grown in an eco-friendly manner, organic and mulesing-free wool and ECONYL ® 100% regenerated nylon yarn made from recycled fishing nets. They also use other sustainable materials and have a page dedicated to all their materials on their website if you want to learn other eco-friendly materials.

Good Cause: On international women’s day Lanius donates 10% of all daily takings to the organization FEMNET.
